The 'Wiped-Out' Icons concept started with the idea of turning the futuristic style of the Playstation WipeOut games/ Designers Republic style into a set of 2D icons. The designs evolved from here to take the original application or icon and simplify it, often using two or three of the basic colours and making something very iconic and instantly identifiable. Over 100 individually designed .PNG icons are of my own design although some are directly inspired by the icon of original application.
